Brush With Lame

I listen to XM radio on my way to and from work. That means I listen to a LOT of it. My commute is 72 miles each way. Every time I hear Hillary Duff, I remember the time I sort of met her at the Contemporary.

I say “sort of” because I really only spoke to her mom. I didn’t realize who it was until it was too late and Hillary spun around to flash me her smile.

Another time in Tomorrowland I encountered Dennis Quaid and his son. I quickly and quietly put them on the ride and then helped them off just as quickly. I don’t think my cow-orkers even knew he had come through.

I’ve had similar brushes with other celebrities: Usher, Shaquille O’Neal, Tim Robbins and Susan Sarandon.
