Apartment Hunting
April 18, 2006 on 7:45 am | In General Nonsense | 7 CommentsYesterday I took a look at this condominium in Celebration. It’s the top, middle unit.

I didn’t think the inside was too spectacular. Perhaps I was put off by the all-white walls, the lack of nice furniture (or presence of furniture at all) and the fact that the agent seemed a little rushed. Hopefully they will let me throw up some paint.
Tracy and I had gone out there the night before and walked around the place. The location is ideal: it faces west and across the street is a small wooded park (for Tekey!) and right around the corner is a community pool and soccer fields. There are walking trails to the east. The building has an elevator that opens up right to my front door. The outside felt homey, hopefully I can make the inside feel homey. That is, assuming they let me have it.

Just wait until this interior design student gets a hold of the place. I’m sure we can make it homey in no time. Hopefully they will let us slap some paint up on the walls. :-p

Hmm… well I don’t know if I want a student working on my condo. I might want to find someone with some professional experience instead. Bwahaha

So now I’m trying to talk myself out of it.. so that I can buy a place instead, in a month or so. What are your thoughts?

Saving up and paying off current debt so that you can buy a place is a good idea. Much better than pouring money down a hole and not having anything to show for it in the end.

What I would have to show for it is sanity.

I would love to live in Celebration. I dunno if I could afford it on a Disney payroll, I’m currently teaching and working at wdw in the summers.
