Yay, it’s Christmas

So what. Heh. I’m not a big fan of the holidays lately. I’m more of a giver than a receiver (nobody can really afford what I want and working where I do I’m not able to do very much any more. Somehow I managed to get the day off so Tekey and I areheading out to surprise my mom with a visit.

I tried baking a loaf of bread to bring up but it came out… wet and dense. Yuck. I think I didn’t give the yeast a chance to warm up to room temp and maybe I should’ve put another spoonful of flour in there or something. I should watch it more closely in the first phase. Oh well.

Last night was a pretty serious exit. Fortunately we had The Caster Guy on the platform with us. We were slamming trains full of people and out of the station in about a minute. It went on for hours but it was a good time. We had drivers stuck in the train so long we started to give bathroom breaks. hehe
