I was trying to work greeter for the parade exit (and eventually, the fireworks exit) tonight but this new guy Doug positioned himself in front of me at the “point.” I don’t know what else to call it. He was standing where the queue splits, instead of the usual car-4-greet, where I was, or car-5-greet positions.

I had enough of that, especially since Carlos was only putting like 50 people in the back half of the train.. so I put the chain up while Doug was distracted and walked away. The chain JUST fit.

I was laughing with Bonnie and noticed he was having difficulty removing the chain. He even had a guest give it a go! hahaha. Meanwhile, Carlos had dropped the rope separating 4 and 5 and directed guests around the mess.

I made eye contact with Doug and he called me over, so I made for the cab to cut through Pink and get water. Tom needed a bump, so I took the train instead.

Bonnie just told me in chat, “OMG– Tom had to get it off– you were already in the train it took that long.” Beautiful!
